• Rob Pegoraro:
folks at Pepcom’s Digital Experience event, has it gotten any less packed over there?

lines just got much shorter.

  • Rob Pegoraro:
Splendid! Because I’m now hungry and thirsty. (The exhibitors there will have to wait.)

I was impressed by how they scattered around the cookies and coffee so you had to see more booths.

  • Josh Centers:
Video game consoles can’t even do proper 1080p yet, and many Blu-Ray transfers look terrible. 4K is a joke.
  • Josh Centers:
I hope the physical disc dies by then. But Ultraviolet is not a good sign.

I can’t see that brand without thinking of the Milla Jovavich movie (whose name I just looked up).

  • Dave Pell:
Jewish men are better lovers because they absolutely cannot get over the shocking fact that sex is actually happening.

My Twitter friends are discussing how their kids don’t finish desserts. Meanwhile, it will take 3 guards to drag me from this cake table.

  • Andy Ihnatko:
(But better to not endanger your life in the first place. I was genuinely frightened when I saw these videos.)

There’s a psychological effect that leads people to think they’re immune from harm in unfamiliar circumstance. Can’t remember name.

  • Steve Lutz:
You be careful out there celebrating tonight, Boston. I don’t want to wake up to news of mass alcohol poisoning/drunk driving deaths.

someone on Twitter suggested that due to lockdown, bomber may have saved more lives Friday than he murdered Monday.

  • Steve Lutz:
Could be. I’d wager there were a lot fewer traffic accidents than usual today.

I don’t disagree, but I’ve been burned too often to set a number on the timeline.

But longer content could dl-in-advance (at first), where the issue isn’t bandwidth but monthly data caps.

Note to self: no baseball caps until Boston suspects are caught, because I’m pretty sure I have the same skin tone as the very fuzzy photos.
