Is there a pref or defaults setting to make TextEdit open a new doc when launched, instead of the iCloud splash?

  @jeffporten I think the only way to have TextEdit open w/new doc instead of iCloud is turning off “Documents & Data” in iCloud system prefs.

@geoffduncan Or by making a TextEdit launch application with AppleScript, I suppose.
