@jcenters Outlawed is probably impossible. But a rigorous attempt to collect sales tax on transactions could screw things up.

  @jeffporten They don’t even have to do that. Just ban US Bitcoin transactions, citing terrorism and drug trade. Wouldn’t be far off.

@jcenters I doubt they can ban Bitcoins. It interferes too much with contract law, since the transaction is barter for consideration.
