@jessespector Weird. Can you try a different computer or Internet connection tomorrow?

@jessespector ugh. Might be a problem with the file if it’s always failing at the same place. I checked support, nothing there about it.

@jessespector hmm. I don’t know shit about Windows 7, but try Firefox if Chrome doesn’t work after reboot. Completely different web engine

@jessespector probably not necessary, but it couldn’t hurt. What OS/browser are you using?

@jessespector if it’s in a web browser, first thing I’d do is try another. Chrome, Firefox, etc.

@girlziplocked Anyone you can recommend? I’m familiar with DC NGOs, but only know single-issue European groups. Thanks.

@GlennF for some reason, Civ V (from Steam) is the only thing that can force a reboot these days.

@GlennF I could go there on my Android, but I guess that’s silly. It’s just been a long while since a URL took down my Mac.

@GlennF how does that lock up the OS? Unclear from the article if that’s force-quit time or if a restart is required.

@girlziplocked … But I find your attacks on neoliberalism refreshing, and I don’t know if there’s anyone working on the ground for that.

@girlziplocked I.e., nonprofits and political orgs working towards these values? Plenty of single-issue options…

@girlziplocked Agreed, definitely reinforcing and reassuring to know you’re not the only one. But in your opinion, who else does the work?
